NUTRITIONAL CONCEPT

3. A STEP-BY-STEP APPROACH

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO FOLLOW DR. HANNA'S PROGRAM STEP-BY-STEP?

In Dr. Hanna's program, each step is designed to be followed in a certain order. First, a general cell cleansing is introduced into the body. Next, specific ingredients are utilized to help the body systems cleanse and tone their cells of particular organs-starting with the intestinal tract, then the heart, brain and circulatory system, then to the major organs (i.e. liver, pancreas, kidneys, gallbladder, bladder), the blood and finally, the immune system. Accordingly, the nutrients in all each step of the program carefully balance each other so that the amount of cleansing is equal to the amount of toning.

WHY DO THE NUTRIENTS HAVE TO BE IN SUCH SPECIFIC BALANCE?

Other nutritional programs, (i.e. high protein diets) tend to leave the body unbalanced. When the body has too much of one type of nutrient, such as protein, the excess nutrients cannot be properly digested. Hence, this leads to toxicity within the cells and throughout the entire system. Accordingly, the first phase of Dr. Hanna's program deals with general cleansing of all your body's cells. If you only did this first step, you would pull toxins out of the cells, and into in your bloodstream. Now your blood would contain extra toxins, but you would have no means to clear it out of your circulatory system.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE FIRST STEP OF CLEANSING THE BODY'S CELLS?

First, we have to remove the toxins that are now in the blood that have been extracted from the body's cells. The next step helps cleanse the blood as well as continue to cleanse and tone the cells of the intestinal tract, heart and brain.

HOW DO THE NUTRIENTS MAINTAIN THIS BALANCE BETWEEN CLEANSING
AND TONING?

Electrolyte foods, in cream form and marinated salads, carry anywhere from 15-20 different types of vegetables in very small amounts. Armed with these nutrients, the electrolyte foods help to open and cleanse the cell membranes as well as penetrate the cells with nourishment. These actions are balanced by food in the powdered form, which carry scientifically monitored amounts of specific nutrients. Accordingly, electrolyte foods in combination with food in the powdered form act synergistically to maintain the delicate balance between cleansing and toning at same time. Therefore, it is necessary to include many different nutrients in the formulas in order to perform these functions and maintain a balance.
